Jarloc Candle Protection
Designed for candles
Our security industry award winning Jarloc tag has been designed specifically to protect glass jar candles from customer theft. It fits into the top of the jar and utilising its patented design, locks into place. Jarloc covers the wick and prevents the candle from being used if stolen, providing a benefit denial feature.
Our latest version, Jarloc(3) is incredibly simple to use and locks through the press of a button and is compatible with most standard or superlock magnetic detachers, already used by retailers.

“In light of the upward trend in shoplifting, we felt it timely to give our existing security measures a boost and improve staff awareness of this important issue.
We engaged GCS (GB) Limited to conduct a full security audit of our business and provide their observations and recommendations to areas where some gains could be made. This included members of the GCS team acting as thieves and stealing from our garden centre, in order to be able to identify our weaknesses and provide clear guidance to plugging any gaps in our security.
As part of the implementation of our revised security measures, GCS conducted bespoke in house loss prevention training for over 80 of our staff working in customer facing roles, such as merchandising and checkouts.
Throughout the entire process, we found GCS to be professional, engaging and a font of good advice and ideas. GCS continually demonstrated a genuine interest to help identify low cost solutions to security weaknesses that were picked up during the audit process.
I would be pleased to recommend GCS to other businesses.”
